Brief of the Project

1. Kidney Foundation Sylhet – A nonprofit organization registered with Samaj Kallayn Adhidaptar Sylhet region. Registration Number – Sil-1294/17 dated 25 January 2017.

2. This institution is having direct collaboration and affiliated with Kidney Foundation Dhaka at Mirpur.

3. We have 56 decimals land donated by a businessman and planned one 100 bed and 60 machine dialysis centre for kidney patients. Our mission to provide dialysis free for poor people and lowest rate for others.

4. We have started a temporary centre at Uposhahar Sylhet, Syed Plaza, Main Road Uposhahar, Multiplan City with 25000 sft floor. At this moment we have 6 x dialysis machine and a complete laboratory for checkup of patients. There are 4 x consultant seating periodically to see patient.

5. We are doing regular dialysis of 36 patients since July 2018 and we are now procuring another 6 x machine for dialysis. We have 100 patients awaiting the dialysis in our centre as we are doing dialysis with Tk. 1,550/- and Tk. 1,000/- compare to other places Tk. 3,000/- to Tk. 4,000/-.  We are providing laboratory tests with much cheaper rate and started out reach program for prevention of kidney disease. We have visited 4 places and provided free services hundred of people for check up for Blood pressure, blood sugar and Urine albumin to prevent and or early diagnosis of kidney disease and high risk conditions.
